Best Travel Experience

Beach BBQ with the Australian cricket team in Barbados back in their heyday. We played beach cricket with the locals, danced to reggae music and drank local rum cocktails. Howzat!!

Best Travel Experience

That’s a tough one! I have so many… It’s between sitting in Saint Tropez sipping on champagne and saying ‘hello’ to Richard Branson or organising the on-ground requirements for President Obama’s visit to Australia (Darwin).  I didn’t personally meet Obama but I did get to meet the US Ambassador and organise their “wheels up” after party once Air Force One had departed.

Italy (in all its regions and islands) and NYC are definitely specialties of mine that I have visited more times than I can count. But I have also experienced Israel extensively and then visited Japan, the Greek Islands, UK, France (Paris/ French Riviera), Egypt, The Netherlands, Spain, Shanghai-Beijing, Tahiti, USA, Playa del Carmen (Mexico), Prague, Berlin, Turkey.

Best Travel Experience

This is a hard question to answer… but just going to the airport after spending many months of planning a trip is always an exciting time. Putting together a plan for a trip is like completing a huge jigsaw puzzle… you plan around a core interest or event and then make sure all the pieces fit.

Highlights for me are swimming in the waters off Capri, eating in Italy, walking the “Walk of the Gods” above the Amalfi coast, wandering the streets of Florence and gaining enough of the local language to have a basic conversation… well enough to order food!
